The non-profit organisation Slova 21 reported on 30 October 2026 on the results of its project 'Strengthening Intercultural Competences' (2024–2026). The training helps officials communicate with people from different cultural backgrounds and imagine the situations foreigners find themselves in in Czechia. Training of civil servants and local-government staff under Slova 21 has run since 2011. The questionnaires captured answers from 744 people, and 89% of them said they would use the newly acquired skills in their work. Participants write that the course helped them stop and think about how they speak to clients and respond more calmly in difficult conversations. For foreigners, including Ukrainians with temporary protection, this means gradually better understanding at Czech offices. This is a statement by the organisation itself, not a state authority.
