Privacy
You can read the site without telling us anything about yourself. Below is everything we collect and why.
Cookies and tracking
The site sets no cookies for readers. There is no advertising and no third-party scripts or fonts: everything loads from our own server. A cookie is set only when the editors sign in.
We count visits ourselves, on our own server and without cookies: only daily totals are kept — how often a page was opened, which website sent the visitor (site name only) and how many different visitors came that day. IP addresses and browser details are not stored; to avoid counting one person twice a day, the server derives a one-off fingerprint with a random salt, and deletes the salt and fingerprints the next day. A visitor therefore cannot be recognised or followed across days. The totals are public: /api/stats/summary.
Feedback form
If you send us feedback, we store its text, your contact (if you left one), the page, language and time. Only the editors see it; we do not publish it or pass it on.
For initial sorting the text may be processed by an AI model (currently Claude by Anthropic). Your contact is not passed to it.
We do not record your IP address with the feedback. The server keeps it in memory for up to 10 minutes only to limit the number of messages (spam protection).
Technical logs
Like any web server, ours may keep technical request logs (address, time, page) to protect against failures and attacks. We do not use them to track readers.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete anything you sent through the form. Write to us via the Contact page.
Report an error or add information
Your message goes to the editorial queue. AI pre-sorts it, a human decides.
