(IČO 19824653), was established on 1 November 2023. A public-service broadcaster interview and the community’s website document its activities. Legal identity and brand

SPILKA CENTRUM z.s. is entered in the Czech register as an association, registration number 19824653, with inception date 1 November 2023. The official Obchodní věstník and a register aggregator state its establishment and aim of developing Ukrainian culture, language and civic interaction in Czechia. This provides the legal basis for object R0063. [SPI01; SPI02]

The public Spilka brand at spilkacentrum.cz presents a cultural community and events. In a Radio Prague interview, its representative Kyrylo Bezrukov is named as co-founder and chair; the name matches the officer in the legal record. A direct statement of the registration number on the brand's website, however, should remain a separate editorial check. [SPI01; SPI03; SPI05]

The association's beginnings and self-description

The organisation describes Spilka's origins in a private conversation about the lack of a Ukrainian cultural environment in Prague, subsequent discussions in the business community and support from its first sympathisers. This is the website's established narrative of the idea's emergence, but without dated minutes it cannot be assigned a particular day or equated with the legal date in 2023. [SPI03]

Establishment of the registered entity on 01.11.2023 is a verifiable legal event. Earlier book meetings and cultural discussions may have existed beforehand, as founders mention in interviews, but this is participants' history, rather than automatically the legal entity's history. The chronology should distinguish idea_origin and legal_incorporation. [SPI01; SPI05]

A mission of cultural exchange

The registered description's statutory aims include preserving and developing the Ukrainian language, organising cultural meetings and supporting mutual understanding between Ukrainians and Czechs. The platform expresses this in terms of events, communities and opportunities for people to meet and initiate their own activities. [SPI01; SPI04]

For a historical-cultural project's website, Spilka is interesting as an example of diaspora self-organisation around art, rather than merely an information point. Statutory goals must be distinguished from events actually documented; every declared activity needs dated evidence, rather than a generalisation from advertising. [SPI03; SPI04]

Event formats

According to the official website and Radio Prague interview, public formats include Zdybanka, poetry evenings, a book club, author meetings, film screenings and music and general-knowledge quizzes. These events combine new acquaintances, Ukrainian cultural memory and informal education. [SPI04; SPI05]

The interview describes Zdybanka's mechanism as rotating conversations at tables, a valuable example of a social format. At CMS level, each event has event_date, a specific venue, an organiser, photograph moderation and author attribution. All formats should not be assumed continuously available in 2026–2027. [SPI05]

The community model

In the Radio Prague conversation, organisers distinguished events from the participant community: event visitors may become community members, and members initiate new meetings. This explains why Spilka is not identical to one club or premises. The participant count given in the interview must retain the report's date, rather than be treated as current membership. [SPI05]

The official website gives the organisation's own audience and event-count figures; their status is self_reported_metrics. Without a documented counting method and financial sources, they do not become verified statistics. [SPI03]

Donations, volunteering and self-sufficiency

In the interview, Spilka describes charitable fundraising for Ukraine and cooperation with Pražský Majdan on particular collections. This permits a directed historical R0063→R0061 relationship of type reported_fundraising_support, but proves neither legal dependence nor a permanent partnership agreement. [SPI05]

The founders also presented a desired self-sufficiency model through membership fees and events, without grant dependence. This statement is a programmatic position at the time of the conversation, rather than an independent financial audit covering every year. Publishing income, expenditure or tax-payment status requires accounting documents. [SPI03; SPI05]

Event venues and registered address

According to the official Czech extract, the association's registered address is Chudenická 1059/30, Hostivař, Praha 10. The 2026 programme instead lists events at different Prague venues: these are event_venues, rather than Spilka's central permanent address. [SPI01; SPI04]

In the Radio Prague conversation, founders explained their practice of using rented halls rather than one permanent cultural house. This fact is limited to the publication period, and the current premises situation requires renewed verification. The map system must not mark the registered address as the location of all events or invent a “Spilka house”. [SPI05]

Significance and limits of cultural history

Spilka demonstrates how the new Ukrainian community's cultural needs generate sustained community formats: meetings, readings and conversations about literature, memory and everyday support. This story is especially important alongside interwar Prague's émigré associations, but an analogy of cultural function is not evidence of institutional succession. [SPI03; SPI05]

A historical atlas could present an exhibition “Prague's Ukrainian cultural circles: different generations”, marking links between eras as thematic comparisons, rather than legal lineage. All specific venues, performances and people are recorded through dated posters and verified sources.
