Prague Places of Memory, Tribute and Remembrance

A trail of remembrance across Prague: Taras Shevchenko’s monument, physicist Ivan Puljuj’s memorial plaque, and Malvazinky and Olšany cemeteries.

Historical context

Shared Czech-Ukrainian heritage is preserved in Prague through urban memorials, commemorative plaques, and historic graves. This itinerary guides visitors to key sites while documenting factual histories.

Space and route

Note: check the opening hours of Malvazinky and Olšany cemeteries on the administrations’ pages (OLS02, PU07). The street numbers on Preslova are disputed (see stop 2).
