The Labour Office of the Czech Republic (Úřad práce ČR) announced on 30 September 2026 that a virtual assistant named Eva is available on its website and when contacting the call centre. She helps with the most common questions: how to apply for a benefit, how to register as a job seeker, which documents you will need and how to submit an application online. Because of the high number of enquiries, not every request can be passed to an operator or a specific employee, so virtual assistants are an important part of client support. The office advises asking specific questions, for example 'When is the superbenefit paid?' instead of 'When will I get it?', and starting with phrases such as 'I want to find out…' or 'I need to arrange…'. The more precise the question, the more precise the answer. The assistant works in Czech. The assistant works in Czech; for Ukrainians with temporary protection it is a quick way to sort out common questions.
