Identifying the name and registered entity

The canonical R0067 entry concerns the Friends School educational centre, rather than every legal entity with a similar name. The Czech Ministry of Education's list identifies registration number 19702931 with the School from my Friends foundation for “Základní a střední škola – lyceum Friends School”. A separate Obchodní věstník notice concerns a limited-liability company with registration number 19624999. The foundation and company must not be merged into one legal entity before current register extracts and management agreements have been examined.

The educational model and distinct statuses

Ukraine's AIKOM information system lists the school as a centre delivering a Ukrainian curriculum. The commission's decision of 4 December 2025 concerns recognition of results in the Ukrainian-studies component. The Czech Ministry's permission under section 38 regulates compulsory attendance at a foreign school in Czechia. These documents address different matters and must not be described as universal “dual accreditation”.

The legal framework: foundation and company

The foundation with registration number 19702931 is expressly named by the Czech Ministry as the founder. The second entity is Friends School s.r.o., registration number 19624999, with a separate registered-office address according to the published notice. The public entry requires current justice.cz extracts, the founding documents and clarification of each entity's role in the particular school year.

Ukrainian educational cooperation

The AIKOM entry records partnership with the International Ukrainian School and commission protocol no. 5 of 4 December 2025. This alone does not establish a transfer of authority to issue any state educational document covering the entire educational pathway. The decision's regulatory implications require separate examination and approval.

The Czech permission and its time limits

The current Czech Ministry list specifies two school years, 2026/27 and 2027/28, and Sousedíkova 1044 as the teaching address. The conclusion is limited to this type of permission. A full entry in the Czech school register and additional conditions of the permission have not been confirmed here. The status must not be extended automatically to all branches, preschool provision or future years.

Cultural and historical significance

This is an example of Ukrainian education becoming institutionalised in Czechia after a new wave of migration. Comparing the two countries' regulatory mechanisms offers a more useful account than a promotional chronology. The context of 2022 matters, but does not justify automatically attributing general refugee data to the school.
