The Labour Office of the Czech Republic (Úřad práce ČR) announced on 3 November 2026 that it is temporarily changing opening hours at all its contact points across the country for four weeks. On Thursdays, including 5 November 2026, the offices are closed to the public for every agenda. Staff still work on Thursdays and process clients' applications, so your requests stay in progress. All other opening hours remain unchanged. If you need to visit the Labour Office in person (for example about benefits or job-seeker registration), plan your visit for another day of the week. Any change after the four weeks will be announced through the office's usual channels. This also applies to Ukrainians with temporary protection who visit the Labour Office.
