The Czech Social Security Administration (ČSSZ) warned on 8 October 2026 about fake messages sent in its name. One claims that a social insurance debt has been found, another says that contributions were calculated inaccurately and includes a shortened link. The links do not lead to official websites, and the aim is to steal personal, login or payment details. Do not reply to such messages and do not open the links. Check social insurance information only on cssz.gov.cz and in the ČSSZ ePortál. If you have already entered your details, contact your bank immediately. If you suspect fraud, also contact the police. You can verify a message on the ČSSZ hotline, 800 050 248. This advice applies to everyone, including Ukrainians living in Czechia.
