Registration for special long-term residence (ZDP) is open until 31 December 2026
Since 1 October 2026, holders of temporary protection can see the result of the ZDP eligibility check in their account on the Information Portal for Foreigners. Registration runs until 31 December 2026.

The Czech Ministry of the Interior has announced that the results of the eligibility check for special long-term residence (ZDP) became available on 1 October 2026 at 8:00. You can see them in your user account on the Information Portal for Foreigners, which you enter with an electronic identity. If you meet the conditions, you can register and choose a time for a visit to a Ministry of the Interior office. There is no need to rush, because a visit can be booked on any day until 31 December 2026. When a household registers, all its members must come to the visit.
