Advent at Holešovická tržnice: market, St. Nicholas and winter cinema

In Prague 7, an Advent programme will take place at Holešovická tržnice from 26 November to 22 December 2026. Its centre will be a Christmas market on Náměstíčka u haly 22, featuring original products, design, books, craft goods and edible gifts. Visitors are also promised hot drinks, roasted chestnuts and other winter food. For children, organisers have prepared the quest “Vánoční cesta kolem světa”, dedicated to Christmas traditions in different countries, an interactive Advent calendar and a post office for Ježíšek. Hall 22 will once again host “Holešovický betlém”, a felt Christmas village by artist Iva Langrová. The children’s quest costs 100 Kč. A separate part of the programme will be Mikulášská in the courtyard between halls 27 and 28: organisers promise St. Nicholas, an angel and a devil, as well as the opportunity to prepare špek.
