Gala evening to showcase Ukrainian business stories in Ostrava

On 27 November 2026, the New Beginnings gala evening will take place in Ostrava. It will present the entrepreneurial stories of Ukrainians who, after moving to the Czech Republic, are developing their own businesses. The event is organized by Impact Hub Ostrava as part of the Podnikej v ČR! programme, created for people who fled the war and are seeking a new professional start. The evening will begin at 17:00 at Impact Hub Ostrava, Sokolská třída 1263/24, and will run until 21:00. In the Impact Hub MashUp format, the organizers will present ten stories: five presentations in each of two blocks, with a break between them. After the presentations, networking, music, a DJ and an afterparty are planned, as well as a “gallery of new beginnings”. Participation is free, but prior registration is required via the link published by the organizers. The dress code is cocktail chic. The project is implemented with the support of the European Union and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. For the Ukrainian community, it is an opportunity to see concrete examples of entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic and find contacts for their own projects. “Galavečer ve formátu Impact Hub MashUpu představí deset podnikatelských příběhů, které tě chytí za srdce.”
